This diagram summarizes findings from Renee Levi’s doctoral dissertation, Group Magic: An Inquiry into Experiences of Collective Resonance (2003). One of the main purposes of conducting this research study was to uncover what participants identified as factors that influenced their group’s shift into the special state of flow called collective resonance. One of the key findings was that place, space and environment played an active role in the process. This discovery contributed to the subsequent study, The Powers of Place (Levi, 2008).
